GRADE 6

Dear Parents/Guardians,

The grade 6 class has been off to a great start, learning about figurative language and drawing some great self-portraits in their literacy classes. We’ve been learning lots of spelling words, and have been writing letters to our pen pals. But the most fun was had in the art class. Students are learning about Abstract Art and were fascinated to see how easily a common thing such as their name can be made into Abstract Art. Students then began working on a Piet Mondrian abstract collage.
